Tech Lead Manager, Google Analytics Gold Processing Backend

Act as a Tech Lead Manager (TLM) for a sub-team of approximately 6 software engineers, managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.Shape the long-term technical goal and architectural strategy for the core data processing stack, with the flexibility to drive both infrastructure and product-focused initiatives.Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Program Management, and Privacy working groups to translate complex requirements into scalable engineering solutions.Design, develop, and evolve our high-scale, foundational data processing infrastructure to support next-generation features.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience programming in C++.5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.Experience with production systems and storage systems.Experience with distributed processing.Preferred qualifications:Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.Experience working with streaming products in FlumeC++.Experience with large-scale data processing.Experience with Bigtable, Colossus, Spanner, or Pubsub.Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
