Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Oxford, NC. The right US Tech must have 1 year of experience. Responsibilities Use the ultrasound machine and ensure images are accurate and passed to physicians for interpretation. Prepare the exam room and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound‑guided biopsies. Educate patients and/or their families regarding procedures performed. Report abnormalities that require immediate attention. Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failures. Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. BLS and ARDMS National Certification. State‑specific licensing when required. Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand and walk for long periods and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Office location: Oxford, North Carolina. Travel assignment: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts.
