Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
• Possession of an active Kansas physical therapy license or the ability to secure the necessary state licensure before starting the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
• Experience in treating outpatient populations, including orthopedic, vestibular, and neurological conditions.
• Familiarity with managing a caseload of approximately 12 patients daily, encompassing various visit types (evaluations and direct treatments).
• Comfortable working with patients aged 6 and older.
• Knowledge of clinic equipment such as free weights, turf, and parallel bars.
• Able to collaborate within a team led by a clinical manager who is an orthopedic resident providing mentorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting.
• Training or experience in vestibular and neuro rehabilitation.
• Completion of an orthopedic residency or advanced coursework in orthopedics is preferred but not mandatory.

Assignment Details

• Typical caseload: approximately 12 patients for evaluation and treatment each day.
• Patient demographics: orthopedic, vestibular, and neuro cases, ages 6 and above.
• The clinic is well-equipped with free weights, turf, and parallel bars.
• Strong clinical environment with on-site mentorship from an orthopedic resident.
