Join our team as a Registered Polysomnography Technician at SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PULMONARY AND Sleep in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of sleep medicine while working with a dedicated team of professionals. Responsibilities:
- Conduct sleep studies and monitor patients throughout the night.
- Prepare and calibrate polysomnography equipment for accurate data collection.
- Analyze sleep data and provide detailed reports to physicians.
- Educate patients about the testing process.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in sleep technology.
- Current Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) certification.
- Experience in performing PSG's, CPAP titrations and MSLT's
- Preferably scoring on the fly
- Knowledge of Cadwell computer system, preferable
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and an occasional weekend.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- CPR certification preferred.
