Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Purview Data Governance solutions.
- Configure and maintain Microsoft Information Protection (MIP/MIPS) Sensitivity Labels .
- Develop and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across Microsoft 365 workloads.
- Implement and maintain data classification and data discovery frameworks.
- Configure and optimize Purview compliance features, including:
- Information Protection
- Data Lifecycle Management
- Insider Risk Management
- Compliance Manager
- eDiscovery
- Conduct data governance assessments and recommend best practices.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and business teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support policy creation, monitoring, reporting, and remediation activities.
- Provide guidance on secure data handling and governance strategies.
- Assist with Microsoft Copilot readiness, governance, and security controls (preferred).
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview .
- Expertise in:
- Data Governance
- Data Classification
- Sensitivity Labels (MIP/Microsoft Information Protection)
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Microsoft 365 Compliance & Security
- Experience implementing enterprise-wide information protection strategies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot governance, security, and compliance.
- Knowledge of AI data protection and governance controls.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
