As a Patient Care Coordinator with OrthoArizona, you will get to:Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking vitals and recording patient history.Input and maintain appropriate EMR documentation.Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary equipment.Prepare injections, remove, and apply splints and casts, and apply dressings.Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment including sterilization techniques.Assist providers in preparing for minor office procedures.Assist with scheduling of tests and treatment.Obtain prior authorization as needed for referral orders and document the authorization status in medical record.Closely monitor voicemail and phone calls, screening for providers.Maintain inventory and stocks exam room.Assist in the care and maintenance of equipment and examination room.All other duties assigned.Qualifications:Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.Working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.Familiarity with equipment and instruments necessary to deliver patient care.Knowledge of handling blood products and disposing of contaminated items.Knowledge of universal precautions.Ability to take vital signs and record results.Understand/Perform training on electronic medical record software.Continue to expand knowledge of electronic medical record software as updates occur.Full Time Benefits:Robust paid time off package including, sick time, holidays, & paid time off!Medical with multiple different plan options.Health Savings account + company contributions.Dental & Vision Insurance.Company paid life insurance policy + the option to purchase additional benefits to protect you from what life throws at you.401(k) with a company contribution + profit sharing!Pet Discount Plan.ID Theft Protection & Legal Assistance.
