Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance their physical performance.
• Maintain a patient load that allows for personalized attention, typically managing one patient per hour to ensure high-quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide effective therapies, focusing on improving mobility, functional capacity, and reducing pain.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that address specific goals for each patient, including rehabilitation post-injury or surgery.
• Monitor and document patient progress consistently, utilizing advanced electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide education on preventive care, health promotion, and strategies to minimize reliance on pharmacological treatments.
• Motivate patients by fostering a positive environment and supporting their commitment to their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care strategies effectively.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments to techniques and strategies based on patient feedback and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical conditions, and those seeking rehabilitation for a variety of musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient demographic ranges from young athletes to older adults, offering a diverse caseload that requires adaptability and a keen understanding of different treatment approaches tailored to various age groups and lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with no documented disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design is essential.
• Experience utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, providing you with a strong foundation in treating various injuries and conditions.
• Experience in designing patient-specific rehabilitation programs that incorporate therapeutic exercises and modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
