Hospice volunteer

Embrace Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to patients and their families during life's most challenging moments. We are seeking compassionate and caring individuals to join our team of volunteers.

Volunteer Roles:

As a hospice volunteer, you may be involved in the following activities:

• Providing companionship and emotional support to patients and families
• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Offering respite care to family caregivers
• Supporting administrative tasks in the office
• Helping with special events and fundraising efforts

Qualifications:

• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
• Ability to listen and provide comfort
• Strong communication skills
• Must be 18 years or older (or accompanied by an adult)
• Background check may be required

Training:

All volunteers will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support from our experienced staff.
