Bartender - Ninfa's Uptown

Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for providing excellent guest service by preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to responsible alcohol service while creating a welcoming and engaging guest experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
• Greet and engage guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Verify guest identification and comply with all alcohol service laws
• Accurately enter orders and process payments using the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and equipment
• Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory as needed
• Support servers with beverage orders during peak service times
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible service
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience preferred
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Strong customer service and multitasking skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Texas Food Handler and TABC certification required or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe after hire

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
