Physical Therapist Assistant

Join Springs Village Care Center as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to our residents, helping them achieve their mobility and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and compassionate support.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report to supervising therapist.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises.
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Prior experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting preferred.
• CPR certification is a plus.
