Registered Nurse Operating RoomThe position is for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. Responsibilities include providing care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures. The unit has five operating rooms and two endoscopy suites. Patient ratios are 1:1. Common diagnoses and treatments include pain injections, eye surgeries, EGD, colonoscopy, and various surgical procedures. Familiarity with equipment such as RFA machines, sentinel node equipment, plastics equipment, and other surgical tools is necessary. Candidates must be able to float to the PACU if needed, although it is not a requirement. Professional demeanor is crucial for team collaboration and patient interaction.
