The Infant Toddler Teacher plays a pivotal role in nurturing young children's development within a small team environment of 2-5 educators. This position emphasizes a blend of play-based and structured lessons to support early learning milestones. The teacher is responsible for implementing curriculum, monitoring safety, managing behavior, and engaging in regular communication with parents through weekly to quarterly updates. Collaboration and personalized support for children’s growth are central to this role, with opportunities for professional development.

 

Responsibilities

• Implement play-based and structured curriculum and lesson plans
• Supervise classroom activities ensuring a safe and engaging environment
• Assess individual child development and learning progress
• Maintain regular communication with parents through weekly, monthly, or quarterly updates
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities and experiences
• Manage child behavior effectively within the classroom
• Monitor safety and wellbeing of all children
• Keep accurate records of child development and classroom activities
• Provide individualized support to meet children’s developmental needs
• Collaborate within a small team of educators to deliver a cohesive learning experience

 

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in early childhood education
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development

• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
• Experience in lesson planning and classroom management
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Patience, creativity, and teamwork abilities
