Cardiovascular Technologist

Job Summary: You work as under general direction of the Department Manager and/or Lead Technologist, and in collaboration with the Medical Director of the Cath Lab, cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical staff, the Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist is responsible for the performance of advance cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities. Provides age-appropriate care (e.g., assists with data collection and providing care) for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Our Ideal Candidate : Will have these certifications upon hire:

• California Radiologic Technologist upon hire
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire and a Graduate of ARRT School or equivalent education/experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT School, or equivalent education/experience.
• California Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• dditional training in angiocardiography, or equivalent education/experience.
• dvanced registration from ARRT in Cardiovascular and Interventional imaging upon hire.
• 2 years' experience as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital.
