Schedule / Job Type

Part-Time | Contract | Night Shift | 2x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with typical staffing ratios of 3:1
• Utilize medication scanning systems as part of standard medication administration protocols
• Float to additional campus ICU units as needed to maintain hours when census drops
• Adhere to on-call expectations, including returning to the facility within one hour when called in
• Complete up to 8 hours of pre-start, non-billable orientation modules via HealthStream
• Maintain compliance with all facility traveler expectations, including scheduling, shift make-up, and time-off policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent, consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active, valid RN state license required — pending licenses not accepted
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Knowledge of medication scanning required
• Ability and willingness to float across all three campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, and Galion) as needed
• Local candidates are welcome

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Strong, consistent work history with no prior contract cancellations or terminations
