Position Overview We are actively looking for a new or experienced caregiver to work with an amazing client located in Seattle, Washington. ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Meal preparation Stand‑by assistance Medication reminders and assistance Companionship (playing games, going for walks, engaging in conversation, etc.) Light house chores Driving to appointments, run errands, etc. Showering, bathing, grooming assistance

PAY/COMPENSATION

Base rate of $22.00-$23.50 per hour, depending on experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT

Active HCA or CNA license valid in the State of Washington Smartphone for time and attendance software Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Must be able to reliably commute to your client's location Ability to pass criminal background check

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

This position requires strong time management skills, interpersonal skills, patience, listening skills and knowledge of generally accepted care standards. It requires effective communication in English, both verbally and written, through in-person, phone, email, and text. Demonstrated experience and tact in communicating with diverse populations, recognizing and understanding differences, needs, experiences, values, lifestyles, and ages of the populations served. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations. Requires regular local travel and reliable transportation to assigned client locations and a smartphone for clocking in/out.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None. Escalated matters of significance are referred to Home Care Supervisor or Manager.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Minimum six months industry-related experience For Washington State employees: Certified Nursing Assistant (C-NA), Home Care Aide (HCA), Home Health Aide (HHA) license required and must remain in good standing during employment

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR REGISTRATIONS

RN Delegation certification highly desired. A valid Washington State Driver's License or Oregon State Driver's License, satisfactory driver abstracts, and proof of auto insurance required for those who drive while engaged in duties for Fedelta Home Care. Must successfully complete pre-employment and ongoing background checks.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), records management systems and health care programs such as WellSky Personal Care.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Moderate work: lift/move up to 20 lbs; occasionally 50 lbs; rarely >100 lbs. Sit, stand, walk, lift, balance, use hands, repetitive motions, occasional ladder use. Vision: close, peripheral, depth perception, focus; necessary for computer work, vehicle operation, data analysis.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exposed to in-home visits and travel between locations, occasional fumes, odors, dusts, mists, or poor ventilation, infectious diseases. Noise level low and typical of home or office environment. Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt
