Job Summary:
Harris Golf Cars is looking for a safe and reliable driver with their Class A CDL to join our team! Our drivers are responsible for transporting golf cars all throughout our territory that spreads across Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and Nebraska.


Responsibilities:
• Operate a manual or automatic transmission semi-truck with trailer
• Operate a gas/diesel truck with open or enclosed trailer
• Follow routes and navigation as required
• Collect and verify delivery or pickup instructions
• Perform pre and post trip inspections
• Keep electronic log with accuracy
• Load and unload trailer, ensuring that all golf cars are safely secured
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all equipment
• Report to manager, promptly, any issues with equipment, deliveries, violations, incidents or accidents
• Provide excellent and attentive service to our customers
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Class A CDL with suitable driving history
• Possession of a current CDL Medical Exam Card
• Must be able to drive a 10-speed manual
• Adherence to all policies and procedures of Harris Golf Cars and state/local laws

Physical Demands:
While performing the job duties, the employee will be frequently required to use their hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, sit, talk and hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 85lbs.


Job type: Full-time, nonexempt
Reports to: Branch Manager
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 an hour
Expected hours: 7am - 5pm, Monday through Friday, start times may vary
