Description of the Position: The primary responsibility of the AAM is to assist in all pub operations under the guidance of the Pub Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing responsibilities of non-management positions and handling opening and closing duties. The AAM will often act as the host and oversee the smooth and effective running of the shift. Duties also include seasonal outdoor work and indoor work, maintaining excellent customer relations, assigning sections to servers, serving guests and tables, taking orders, delivering products promptly, cashiering, operating a point of sale system, ensuring service areas are stocked and organized, regulating labor, overseeing side work, cleaning duties, training staff, and performing administrative duties as assigned by the manager. Effectively address personnel and customer service issues, provide service to meet customer needs, and communicate issues to the Head Manager and District Manager. The position can involve hard physical work and requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. The AAM must work well independently and as part of a team.
