Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Critical Care Float Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description This position is for an ICU Float Nurse who will cover various units including Medical, Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), and Intermediate Care (IMC). The role will accommodate a 48-hour contract as needed. Unit Information The Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) consists of 32 beds, licensed for Neuro Critical Care patients. The unit is distributed across two floors and boasts a majority of shifts with adequate staffing levels. Expected Patient Ratios 1:2 for typical cases 1:1 for higher acuity situations Common Cases Encountered Sepsis End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) requiring CRRT/CVVH Post-cardiac arrest care Respiratory failure Experience Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting Preferred 1 year of experience in a Level 1 ICU, or 2 years in a MICU setting Certifications Required NIHSS BLS ACLS (Both through the American Heart Association) Shift Information Full-time position with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Holiday Coverage Holiday coverage is mandatory for this position. Additional Information We are seeking strong ICU nurses with robust clinical backgrounds.
