Weaver Position

Tex Tech Industries is hiring for a Weaver at our Winthrop Location. This is a 2nd shift position from Monday to Thursday, 4pm to 2am.

The role involves running a multi-loom assignment to produce first-quality material. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending machines that knit, loop, weave, or draw in textiles.

Key responsibilities include:

• Running a multi-loom assignment.
• Starting machines, monitoring operations, and making adjustments as needed.
• Maintaining the full work assignment in processing first-quality material.
• Repairing the warp, filling breaks, and other loom stops as needed.
• Doffing the roll and cutting when full.
• Recording all necessary information on tickets and production as required.
• Inspecting cloth while weaving to ensure quality material is being produced.
• Replacing empty cones with full ones when needed.
• Adhering to all safety rules and safe work practices at all times.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

The position requires frequent standing and walking for up to 10 hours a day, frequent lifting, twisting, kneeling, and bending. Frequent lifting of 10 to 75 lbs (with some assistance). Must have fine motor skills and manual dexterity along with good vision and be able to distinguish color variations.
