We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team at our Lansing office, located at 124 W. Allegan St., Lansing, Michigan 48909-7536. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant city known for its rich history and cultural attractions, all while contributing to our organization's success.
Job Responsibilities- Accounts Payable: Audit vendor invoices for policy compliance, process disbursements, and reconcile inter-agency billings.
- Accounts Receivable: Prepare and enter Legislative Council billings, record accounts receivable, and prepare bank deposits.
- Associate degree in accounting.
- Two to five years of fund accounting or auditing experience.
- Experience with the State of Michigan SIGMA financial system.
This is a part-time position that requires onsite presence three days a week, with a start date in late October 2026 and an end date in late March 2027. If you're ready to make a difference and grow your career in accounting, apply now!
