Quality Control Associate I

Job Description Client: Direct Client Location: Research Triangle Park, NC Job Title: Quality Control Associate I Duration: 1 Year+ Summary: The Quality Control Associate I supports key functional, tactical, and operational aspects of the Quality Control Chemistry group. Responsibilities: Perform QC Raw Material sampling and testing, including all associated activities. Support sampling, training, testing of raw materials, transfer qualification, validation activities, and maintain compliant cGMP documentation. Provide technical support as a subject matter expert in key functional areas. Process documentation and computer system entries. Apply understanding of Quality Systems in daily functions. Adhere to GLP/GMP requirements and understand FDA/EMEA regulations. Interact effectively with Quality management, support investigations, and participate in employee training and compliance activities. Work effectively within the team and across the site, demonstrating strong communication skills. Support activities such as interviewing, training, and corrective actions. Work weekends and overtime as required. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field with 1-2 years of experience, or Associate degree/High School Diploma with equivalent experience (typically 3+ years). Knowledge of scientific principles and data analysis. Experience with laboratory instrumentation (HPLC, GC, UV-vis, Dissolution, FT-IR). Understanding of cGMP/cGLP requirements and laboratory safety. Ability to lift 10-20 pounds and stand for extended periods. Exposure to chemicals, dust, fumes, and hazardous waste. Weekend and overtime work may be required.
