As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, training new recruits, and supporting daily operations to meet sales targets. What You'll Do Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty, utilizing your product knowledge and customer service skills. Assist in managing the sales floor and support leadership when needed. Open and close the store as required, handling cash register operations and sales transactions. Drive sales through product knowledge, including promoting additional benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Understand sales goals and key KPIs such as UPT and ADT. Assist with store layout and merchandising updates. Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ. Ensure store security and prevent theft in collaboration with management. Maintain organized stock rooms and store cleanliness. Support team development and collaboration. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader. What You'll Need At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills. High school diploma or GED. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
