Performs a variety of activities to assist in dispensing medications throughout appropriate areas of the hospital; delivers medications to nursing units, prepares injectable medications, unit doses, IV admixtures, etc. Completes necessary record keeping and performs other duties as assigned. Works in partnership with other staff members and pro-actively identifies and provides for the customers' needs using the LifeBridge Health customer service standards as identified on each campus. Performs related duties as required or assigned.
Experience Required:
1-3 years of pharmacy experience
Education:
High School / GED
Licenses And Certification:
- Pharmacy Technician License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
- Pharm Tech Certification and obtain PTCB certification within 18 months of employment OR *MD Pharmacy Intern License (if not registered)
