Construction Superintendent

What to Expect The Construction Superintendent will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers during the planning and execution phases. They will oversee on-site activities, manage resources, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and resolve any issues that arise. The superintendent will also manage project schedules, document progress, and work to keep the project on track, delivering a successful outcome.
What You'll Do

• Develop detailed construction plans and schedules in collaboration with project managers and engineers
• Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and resolving any on-site issues
• Conduct regular inspections tomaintainhigh-quality standards and compliance with building codes
• Monitor and manage project schedule, adjusting for delays and ensuringtimelycompletion
• Oversee resource management, including labor, equipment, and materials to ensure cost-effective operations
• Communicate with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project coordination
• Maintain documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders, to track project status

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in managing large-scale construction projects, including ground-up builds or facility renovations
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability toidentifysolutions and make informed decisions under pressure
• In-depth knowledge of construction safety protocols and ability to enforce OSHA and state regulations on-site
• Expertisein managing project schedules, resource allocation, and cost control
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Familiarity with construction quality standards, codes, and environmental regulations
• Proficiencywith construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
