Link 2 Solutions LLC has just been engaged well qualified candidates for a new Systems/Network Administrator position at one of our best Volusia County based clients . The position is fully onsite with the preference of our client being to hire a qualified candidate who lives within a 45/50-minute drive from Corporate HQ.

Systems/Network Administrator position:-

Administer company servers and the services they provide.

Monitor and analyze wide area network (WAN), local area network (LAN), virtual private network (VPN), and SD-WAN connectivity.

Review system and network event logs, alerts, availability, and performance information; investigate exceptions and recurring issues.

Install, test, and document approved server and infrastructure patches, updates, and upgrades.

Troubleshoot and resolve server, network, connectivity, and related infrastructure issues.

Administer business telephone and voicemail systems.

Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, procedures, and hardware and software inventories. 

Provide technical support and coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and maintain infrastructure services.

Support cybersecurity initiatives, including user account administration, access controls, security monitoring, and implementation of security best practices.

Monitor and support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.

Evaluate existing infrastructure, analyze operational needs, and recommend system, network, telecommunications, and technology improvements to enhance security, reliability, efficiency, and performance.

Successful candidates will possess the following skills/experience:-

Demonstrated technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently assess issues and develop effective solutions.

Experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and supporting data networks.

Working knowledge of TCP/IP, common TCP and UDP ports, routing, firewalls, SD-WAN, Ethernet switching, VLANs, VPNs, and broadband connectivity.

Experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 or comparable identity, collaboration, and messaging platforms.

Experience supporting remote desktop, virtual application, or terminal-services environments such as Citrix or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.

Experience providing help desk or end-user technical support.

Design, implement, and maintain network and server infrastructure to support business operations.

Experience with business phone systems and structured data and voice cabling, including Category 5e or higher cabling, patch panels, and related components.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain documentation, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with employees, vendors, and service providers.

Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and experience.

Three to five years of experience administering network and server environments.

Travels between various Florida offices to troubleshoot issues or install/move computer and network equipment.

Some intrastate and overnight travel may be required.
