Advance Services is seeking an experienced Facility Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist for a Direct Hire opportunity with a leading global manufacturing company in Yankton, SD. Job Duties:
- Lead and manage all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs for the facility.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety regulations.
- Develop and implement accident prevention and workplace safety initiatives.
- Coordinate employee safety and environmental training programs.
- Conduct audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Manage waste reduction, recycling, and energy conservation efforts.
- Maintain EHS records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
- Partner with production, HR, and leadership to promote a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related technical field preferred.
- 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience with ISO management systems, ergonomics, or behavior-based safety is a plus.
