Details Surgery unit within a county-designated Trauma Center Day shift schedule with 5x8s, Monday through Friday, 0500-1700 with rotating start times No call requirements Uses EPIC EMR system Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Minimum 2 years of charge or lead nursing experience required Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/experience required Master's degree preferred Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required Trauma center experience preferred EPIC EMR experience required Additional Information Provides unit-based leadership in collaboration with Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff Supervises and directs nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion Ensures cost-effective, high-quality patient care with a focus on positive outcomes and patient safety Participates in patient care as needed and fosters a culturally sensitive, family-centered care environment Conducts rounds to assess patient care needs and gather feedback on nursing services Develops strategies to improve patient, family, and physician satisfaction Investigates and resolves patient care and operational issues Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined No prior license actions or restrictions permitted No radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates American Traveler Job ID P-748353.
