Family Nurse Practitioner - Float

Role Overview The Family Nurse Practitioner-Float provides high-quality healthcare in both clinical and virtual settings, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to protocols. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient care in clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals. Lead and guide clinic staff, ensuring excellent patient service and professional standards. Assess patient histories, symptoms, allergies, and medications to formulate diagnoses. Order, interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on treatment plans. Ensure accurate and timely documentation, compliance with regulations, and adherence to clinical protocols. Engage with clinical leadership, participate in training, and support new employee onboarding. Maintain a positive work environment, foster teamwork, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Perform on-call duties as needed and support quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) and active license, DEA, and DOT certification. 1-5+ years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or similar settings is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, autonomous environments, with strong clinical judgment. Experience with telehealth is preferred; excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
