Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP position specializing in electrophysiology procedures. Responsible for scrub and support of EP cases, ensuring patient care in a fast-paced environment with rotational late-day support.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Scrub and assist with electrophysiology procedures, including device implants such as leadless pacemakers.
  
  
• 
  Support and circulates during EP cases, maintaining safety and adherence to protocols.
  
  
• 
  Float to support other hospital areas, including the Cath Holding Room, as needed.
  
  
• 
  Maintain competence in EP equipment and ensure proper setup and functioning.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to scheduling requirements, including late shift rotations and flexibility for unit needs.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all hospital policies, including travel, licensure, and certification standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid active RN license in hand at time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a cardiac cath lab, EP lab, or similar setting.
  
  
• 
  Experience with EP procedures, including device scrubbing and circulating.
  
  
• 
  BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  
  
• 
  EPIC EMR experience is mandatory.
  
  
• 
  Ability to pass a required EKG exam with no open cases or disqualifying background issues.
