Role Description This is a part-time, on-site position for an Event Coordinator based in Chesapeake, VA. The Event Coordinator will handle the organization and execution of events, working closely with clients to plan all event details. Responsibilities include coordinating event logistics, communicating effectively with clients and vendors, managing customer inquiries, and providing exceptional support during events. The role also involves assisting with sales efforts and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the event planning and execution process. Qualifications Event Planning and Event Management skills to successfully organize and execute events Strong Communication skills for effectively liaising with clients, vendors, and staff Customer Service skills to provide exceptional support and ensure client and guest satisfaction Sales experience, particularly in promoting event services and securing client contracts Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work on-site and adapt to the dynamic needs of events Previous experience in event coordination or a similar role is a plus High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in Event Planning are advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
