• Number of Staff - 12


• Type of staff:


• Day Shift -8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, 1 Unit Clerk


• Night Shift - 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs

• Patient Ratios - 1:6; 1:4 for Heart Cath patients - estimated never guaranteed


• Type of equipment - PCA Pumps; IV pumps; Chest Tubes


• EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile



Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.


• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience


• BLS & ACLS



Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.


• Prior Meditech experience


• NIH



List typical procedures performed on unit(s):


• Central lines; Medication drips


• Heart Cath recovery; Bubble studies



Best personality Fit:


• Positive Attitude/Engaged; Independent; Strong critical thinking skills


• Positive patient care experience
