Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Overview We’re looking for a dependable and skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to become a key part of our team. Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation. Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift in order to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses. Log items into the Lost and Found and maintain controls to ensure guest satisfaction. Clean guest rooms on an as-needed basis including but not limited to: cleaning a variety of surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping. Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Must be 18 years or older Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a room attendant Must have the ability to communicate in English and can communicate well with guests and associates Self-starting personality with an even disposition Must be willing to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
