Value Added Distributors, LLC in Redgranite, WI is hiring a full-time Production Team Supervisor! We're looking for an experienced leader who can manage the daily activities while proactively taking steps to grow and expand the department.

PRODUCTION TEAM SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

• 1+ years of professional leadership experience with the ability to train others
• 21+ years of age (for driving responsibilities), a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. with a team and type 25+ wpm
• Ability to make sound judgments and decisions aligning with company goals and customer needs
• Ability to troubleshoot fluid power systems
• Clear, respectful, and transparent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills for multitasking and managing time effectively
• Technological proficiency with the ability to learn new applications and techniques
• Mechanical aptitude with an ability to apply principles, understand how tools/machines interact and function together, and diagnose/solve problems
• Empathetic, calm, and respectful demeanor

Preferred Criteria:

• Experience using Microsoft 365 applications and ERP systems, specifically Epicor
• 2+ years of industrial assembly experience
• Manufacturing fluid power or industrial sales knowledge
• Relevant certifications/licenses (OSHA 30-hour, First Aid, CPR, BBP, etc.)

PRODUCTION TEAM SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The typical schedule is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday , but you may need to work outside of these hours to meet business needs.

You'll lead the day-to-day operations, optimizing all aspects of the manufacturing process to lay the foundation for future growth and expansion. In coordination with the branch manager, you'll diligently oversee your team's daily activities while strategically managing schedules, resource allocation, budget constraints, streamlined workflows, and more. You'll train your team on the best practices, ensure they follow our SOPs, and provide additional coaching as needed to maximize customer satisfaction. If you notice any quality or safety issues, or there's an open position on the floor, you'll quickly jump in to fix the problem.

Attention to detail is important, and you'll be responsible for accurate data entry and database management. You'll conduct time-management studies and identify strategies to optimize daily operations. You'll embrace our commitment to continuous improvement and strengthen connections with our vendors, customers, and internal departments. Throughout the day, you'll proactively identify and address bottlenecks, quality issues, or safety hazards. Your dedication will optimize the production department's productivity and help take our company to the next level!
