Travel Physical Therapist - $2,162 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the setting, following guidelines for the facility. Understand and comply with the respective PT board’s rules and regulations within the state. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Understand and use adaptive equipment. Modify the plan of care as indicated based on the patient’s condition. Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged). State‑specific licensing and BLS certification. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Additional Information Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend to be determined.
