Director of Resident Services

We are a CCRC situated on a beautiful 50-acre campus with warm and friendly staff. The Director of Resident Services oversees all Resident events and programs and the staff. Manages the transportation area including responsibility for fleet management. Duties and Responsibilities Manages all staff including training, performance evaluations, day-to-day activities and coordination of all functions. Creates and implements strategic plans. Responsible for all programs, events, and trips for Independent Living residents. Contacts vendors, assures proper set up of program and informing residents by multiple media. Create opportunities for resident feedback and recommendations on programs. Establishes community networks to enhance current programs and initiatives. Follows all company policies and protocols and serves as a role model for staff. Develops monitoring systems for transportation. Assures vehicle maintenance is conducted in a timely manner. Oversees the design of invitations, memorial service programs, music programs and other special projects as needed. Develops and manages department budgets. Completes finance documents in a timely manner, Responsible for payroll, overtime reports, attendance at manager’s meets and processing invoices. Meet with new residents to explain how to use the Iamfine Resident Check-in system, as needed. Participates in various Committees. Coordinates scheduling of events with other department heads. Meet with residents and exceed expectations. Responsible for the Resident Check-in System. Perform additional duties as assigned by the President and CEO.. Qualifications/Skills PA Driver’s license. Excellent Management Skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel and Adobe. A genuine interest in and compassion for older adults. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including being comfortable with public speaking. Technical skills including audio/visual equipment, media streaming services. Ability to pivot to virtual environment and support technical needs for virtual events and activities. Must have a pleasant and professional manner and work efficiently under stressful situations. Demonstrate creative ability and enthusiasm. Experience in project management. Works independently with a minimum of supervision. Demonstrates attention to detail. Strong initiative and ability to handle multiple projects/roles in an evolving environment both individually and within a team. Willingness to do what it takes to complete projects with a dedication to quality and innovative thinking. Strong resourcefulness and problem-solving skills. Handles resident and employee correspondence and information in a confidential manner. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and do moderate lifting. Must be able to walk the entire campus. Education Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or other comparative program preferred. Other Duties Must comply with the general attendance policies. This includes the ability to quickly learn new technologies, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and apply technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and communication.
