If you're looking for competitive pay, consistent hours, and the opportunity to make a difference every day, we'd love to hear from you. **Position Details** + **Pay Rate:** $53.00 per hour + Full-time contract assignment + **Schedule:** 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hours weekly) + Every other weekend required, holidays as needed + 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts may be available depending on facility needs + Flexibility with shift availability is a plus + Travel Stipend Available if more than 50+ miles from facility **Responsibilities** + Perform health assessments, screenings, and physical examinations. + Assess, triage, and treat acute, chronic, and urgent medical conditions. + Provide nursing care for patients with medical and mental health needs. + Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. + Perform wound care and other nursing interventions. + Respond to medical emergencies and provide emergency nursing care. + Monitor cardiac status, manage catheters, perform venipuncture, start IVs, and provide diabetic care. + Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. + Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection control standards. **Qualifications** + Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program. + Current, active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. + Minimum of one (1) year of Registered Nurse experience. + **At least one (1) year of correctional nursing experience is required.** + Current BLS certification + Current TB Test/Chest X-Ray + Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. **Benefits** + Competitive weekly pay + Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Short-Term Disability Insurance + 401(k) Retirement Plan + Travel stipends available for qualified travelers + Dedicated recruiter support throughout your assignment + Opportunities for contract extensions and additional assignments nationwide **Apply Today!** Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
