Backend Engineer, Core Technology

Salary: $68,000 - 108,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong software engineering expertise and a genuine interest in one of the areas above
• Ability to produce high-quality code in languages such as Go, Java, or C/C++
• 2-12+ years of hands-on professional software development experience, including well-structured algorithms and familiarity with common data structures and algorithms
• Practical experience contributing to or developing large-scale distributed systems
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to support peers and operate across multiple workstreams
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to represent user experience and influence the right outcomes in discussions
• Comfort working with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, with an entrepreneurial approach
• Preferred: experience improving end-to-end performance of distributed systems

• Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality code across technologies, systems, and processes
