Full-Time | Flexible Schedule | One Evening Shift Weekly | Saturdays (8:00 AM-2:00 PM)
Pay: $20-$26/hour, based on experience

Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital of Flourtown is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working alongside a supportive, experienced team. Since opening our doors in 1972, we've grown into a modern, full-service companion animal hospital while maintaining the personalized, family-oriented care our clients know and trust.

In This Role, You'll

Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgeries, dentistry, and medical procedures
Obtain laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics
Administer medications and treatments under veterinary supervision
Monitor anesthesia and hospitalized patients
Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort throughout their visit
Accurately document treatments and patient information
Educate pet owners on medications, home care, and preventive medicine
Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
Support daily hospital operations while working closely with your teammates

What You Bring

At least 1 year of experience working in a veterinary hospital
Confidence handling and restraining companion animals safely
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Positive attitude and a collaborative approach to patient care
Excellent communication and client service skills

Bonus Skills

Experience monitoring anesthesia
Surgical or dental assisting experience
Familiarity with veterinary practice software
Interest in continuing education and expanding your technical abilities
