QA Tester

We are seeking an experienced Application Tester to support a large-scale enterprise information-sharing system. The candidate will be responsible for system testing, UAT, requirements validation, defect management, test automation, and maintaining automation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases, scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
- Validate requirements and traceability matrices.
- Test web services/APIs using SoapUI and Postman .
- Create test reports and document defects using defect management tools.
- Support defect investigation and resolution.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks and test suites.
- Integrate automated testing with DevOps/CI/CD .
- Perform data-driven automation testing and use Extent Reports .
- Write complex SQL queries for database testing.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Prepare testing reports and presentations when required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Technology, or related field.
- 5–7 years of software testing/QA experience.
- Proficiency in Java or C# and knowledge of software design patterns.
- Experience with NIEM XML or complex XML standards .
- Experience with SOA technologies and web service testing.
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server/SQL skills.
- Experience with automation framework development and data-driven testing.
- Knowledge of Extent Reports, Git/GitHub, and DevOps .
- Experience with IBM Rational Jazz Suite is a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with telework available and occasional in-person meetings
