About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Product to lead the strategic and commercial aspects of its technology, which is designed to enhance safety and operational confidence in the face of changing weather conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the product, design, and commercial strategy, with a focus on defining the next chapter for the business. This role is pivotal in the intersection of product, engineering, hardware, data, and go-to-market, and requires a builder's mindset to set the roadmap, own pricing and packaging, and ensure the commercial success of the product. The VP of Product will also be tasked with expanding the product organization, bringing vision to hardware, and leading the company to become AI-native. Applicants for the VP of Product role at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in product management, with a proven track record of leading product at a B2B SaaS company through a significant growth stage. Strong general management instincts, a builder mindset, and experience with hardware-enabled or IoT products are essential. The role demands a leader who is technical enough to partner with engineering, fluent in AI-enabled workflows, and has a history of building and developing product and design teams. Familiarity with enterprise SaaS, data platforms, or vertical software in safety-critical industries is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, hands-on doer, and be deeply committed to the mission of making outdoor environments safer.
