Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Cardiac Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac telemetry nursing and be capable of managing telemetry patients with primary or secondary cardiac diagnoses, as well as stable cardiac catheterization patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry patients and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications, including cardiac drips (non-titratable).
• Manage and maintain equipment such as IV pumps and feeding pumps.
• Prepare and assist patients undergoing cardiac catheterization.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding cardiac conditions and treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with recent cardiac telemetry experience required.
• Active RN license in Maryland or a Compact license.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Previous travel experience is required.
