Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• Participate in education programs to meet learning needs and use patient education materials effectively
• Evaluate patient care and participate in interdisciplinary team discussions
• Demonstrate competence in care, including bedside point of care testing and adhering to healthcare standards
• Develop goals for professional growth and participate in unit goals and performance improvement activities
• Assess patient needs and discharge planning requirements
• Collaborate with patients and families to prepare or update care plans
• Engage in relevant research activities

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• One (1) year of nursing experience
• Nursing Diploma OR ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
• Level 1 Trauma Experience, CTICU Focus Experience
