As a Toddler and Preschool Teacher, you will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. Your role involves fostering development through creative play and structured activities while maintaining a safe and organized classroom. You will also collaborate closely with parents and contribute to weekly curriculum planning to support children's growth effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being
- Manage behavior positively and support social-emotional development
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding child progress and needs
- Monitor safety standards and maintain a secure classroom environment
- Organize classroom materials and maintain an inviting learning space
- Engage children in creative play to stimulate learning and development
- Plan curriculum activities on a weekly basis to meet educational goals
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in early childhood education
- Level 2 Background check clearance
- CPR and First Aid Certification
