Server BallenIsles Country Club, Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking Full Time Servers to join our team! Qualified candidates must have demonstrated success in a similar service environment and dedication to quality, productivity, and attentive service to private club members and guests. Essential duties include preparing restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order, assisting with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties, providing immediate attention to all guests upon seating, describing specials of the day to the guests, answering questions regarding any menu item and offering suggestions of menu items when appropriate, presenting menus and assisting guests in selecting food and beverage items, delivering food to guests promptly after preparation, confirming orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested, ensuring guest satisfaction, anticipating guest needs, replenishing items as needed, and maintaining a clean and clutter free table. Other duties include participating in pre-shift meetings and taste tests, maintaining organized workstation and side work duties, being accountable for checks and cash transactions, utilizing the Point-of-Sale System properly and striving for 100% accuracy in all charges and transactions, following established training and systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders, following established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques, collaborating with other servers, kitchen, and bar staff before, during and after meal service periods to execute a "Member/Guest Comes First" approach, practicing proper tray service for all food and beverage service, working closely with restaurant management to immediately address all guest concerns, incorporating safe work practices in job performance, and performing other duties as required. Physical demands include frequently standing and walking, using hands, reaching with arms and hands, stooping, kneeling, crawling or crouching, talking or hearing. Occasionally sitting, climbing or balancing. Frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasionally working in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate. Preferred requirements include 2+ years' server experience, proven exemplary customer service skills, 2+ years' experience with a restaurant POS software platform. Other qualifications include ServSafe and/or TIPS certification preferred, regular and reliable attendance, and position requires flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
