Supervising and coordinating the activities of various claims functions, the full-time Claims Manager will manage property, casualty, and workers compensation claims while overseeing staff performance and vendor programs in a virtual environment. Key responsibilities Directs and manages multiple claims functions, ensuring effective oversight of claims management and reserve adequacy Trains, coaches, and leads staff while preparing performance appraisals and conducting review meetings Manages vendor programs providing claims services, including independent adjusters and medical cost containment Required qualifications Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or four to six years of related experience and/or training Proven experience in managing claims functions, including oversight of reserves and settlements Ability to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship Experience in training and leading teams within a claims environment Strong understanding of operational plans and procedures related to claims management
