Manufacturing Engineer
$105K - $115K
We are looking for a versatile Manufacturing Engineer to bridge the gap between design and production. This hands-on role focuses on supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and providing technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle. You will ensure that manufacturing processes for complex systems are scalable, efficient, and meet all technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- NPI & Design Support: Lead the transition of products from R&D to full-scale production. Participate in design reviews to improve manufacturability (DFM) and cost-effectiveness.
- Technical Documentation: Interpret and clarify engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs . Act as the main technical contact for internal teams and external suppliers regarding technical data packages.
- Process Optimization: Develop and validate assembly methods, tooling, and test processes. Identify root causes for production issues and implement lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to align on technical specs and support supplier onboarding.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related).
- Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, ideally working with electro-mechanical systems .
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and experience with PLM/ERP systems.
- Production Knowledge: Strong understanding of various fabrication methods (CNC, molding, sheet metal, etc.) and assembly standards.
- Communication: Proven ability to collaborate with contract manufacturers and suppliers to resolve complex technical queries.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Practical experience in troubleshooting and testing electro-mechanical assemblies.
