Position Summary
We are seeking a mid-level electronic engineer to support engineering activities within the company. This position would assist the engineering department in product development and design of microprocessor-based flow meters, automated test equipment, and production support systems. - Support new Designs through development into production.
- Drives system integration, assembly procedures, and test procedures
- Document designs with engineering drawings and written descriptions
- Trouble-shoot complex systems from a hardware and software perspective
- Design, build, and test prototypes expediently and efficiently
- Perform board bring-up, and documentation
- Design, review and implements circuit boards for industrial environments.
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and understanding of best practices
- Experience in electronic design, including component selection, schematic design, and familiarity with schematic capture and layout tools.
- Experience in embedded design of mix signal circuits and be familiar with common industry protocols (I2C, SPI, TCP/IP, UART)
- Must be familiar with Test equipment: Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Bench power supplies, Logic analyzers, Function generators and Spectrum analyzers.
- Surface Mount soldering of small components.
- Programming C and Python.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance testing and requirements.
