Interventional Radiology Technologist-Full Time Days Sign on Bonus Eligible*

Operate equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs for appropriate patient age groups and maintain proficiency in clinical and equipment competencies across all clinical settings. Responsibilities Operate cardiac cath lab equipment including x‑ray units, monitors, and hemodynamic units with knowledge and expertise. Operate angiography equipment with knowledge and expertise. Coordinate and prioritize in emergent or critical patient situations. Maintain efficiency in use of supplies and equipment while preserving sterility during procedures. Assist in patient assessment throughout procedures. Utilize technical and clinical skills to assist the physician during procedures, ensuring patient safety. Monitor all procedure functions to prevent adverse outcomes. Alter examinations relative to patient status to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide the physician with proper clinical diagnosis and patient history documentation. Work with the physician to provide optimal exam for accurate diagnosis. Coordinate schedule for optimal equipment utilization and patient flow. Maintain adequate supplies and workspace for efficient daily operation. Maintain quality control for all equipment in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory guidelines. Start IVs as indicated for contrast injection with proper documentation. Apply principles of growth and development throughout the lifespan and assess data reflecting patient status, including age‑specific needs. Perform other duties as assigned.
