Occupational Therapist | PRN

Job Title

Essential Functions:

• Carries a patient census of 1-3 clients, as your schedule allows
• Evaluates the level of patient function and performance and equipment needs
• Develops the plan of care/treatment including long and short-term treatment goals, interventions, and the intensity, frequency and duration of services
• Completes initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments at appropriate time points
• Provides interventions and therapeutic treatment in accordance with the physician certified plan of care and occupational therapy professional standards of practice

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Florida Occupational Therapist License
• In the last five (5) years, two (2) years of experience as a physical therapist

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Able to provide proof of current CPR certification, per organization-specific policy
• Able to visually and aurally observe and assess the patient
• Able to effectively deal with changes based on patient needs and scheduling

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

• Able to travel within geographic area serviced by office
• Work is performed in a client's residence
• Able to work flexible schedule as needed
• Perform physical activity that may require lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs., and physically stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, standing, sitting, walking, reaching and climbing stairs
