The ideal CFO for the company will have a tenure of 15-25+ years, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. The role demands a well-rounded business experience, particularly in the areas of accounting and FP&A, and the ability to lead the company through a period of significant growth and change. The candidate should be a top financial leader in a lower middle market company or a number two financial leader within a larger enterprise, and must be prepared to work closely with the private equity sponsor to execute the investment thesis and drive the company's scale through both inorganic and organic methods. The position is not just about financial management, but also about being a strategic partner in the company's evolution and a key player in its market expansion.
